Delhi Metro Mishap: Man caught eating eggs, drinking alcohol in coach, reveals SHOCKING reason behind the act

Delhi:  A few days ago, a video of Delhi Metro was becoming increasingly viral, in which a person is drinking alcohol while sitting on the seat. As soon as the video went viral, internet users were enraged and started demanding strict action. In such a situation, the police arrested the person on Wednesday. In the viral video, the young man is seen sitting on a metro seat drinking alcohol and peeling boiled eggs. On this video, people questioned how someone can drink alcohol in a metro train, while CISF personnel take out a bottle of liquor at the time of security check.

Identity of the accused?

The accused has been identified as Ravi Kumar, a resident of Shahdara in Delhi. The incident took place on April 8 when a complaint was filed by the senior station manager of Karkardooma metro station. It is being said that this video is of a metro train going from Mayur Vihar to Maujpur.

The video was shared on a WhatsApp group.

As soon as the complaint was received, the police came into action. The investigation of the case was handed over to ASI Hardeep Singh. The DMRC, CISF and housekeeping staff were asked to identify the accused. The video was also shared on WhatsApp groups to identify the accused.

The man confessed.

After a lot of hard work by the police, the accused was arrested from Burari. During interrogation, he revealed his name as Akash Kumar and said that he lives with his parents and younger brother in a rented house.He confessed that he had shot the video himself on March 23, 2025, at around 10 pm while going from Welcome Metro Station to Karkardooma Court Metro Station. He said that the alcohol was not real but that he had drunk a soft drink of that color.
